Chaneki is a registered charitable trust registered under the Indian trusts act 1882.  It is formed with the objective of enhancing the social and economic empowerment of the rural poor in Assam. It has a multipronged approach to strengthen the livelihood of the rural poor by providing skill development and placement for youth and imparting self-employment-oriented training.

At present society working in the field of handloom and textile sector, Traditional Jewelry, and also the interior Designing sector. . In northeastern India lacks people engaged in the handloom and textile sectors. Chaneki provides Training, New designs, and consultancy services to the weavers and other textile producers for improvement of their products to compete for the global market.
